Gerri was born and raised in Iles de la Madeleine, Quebec Canada. Growing up from a small child learning to sew with her grandmother. Making her first formal gown at 15 years old. She later made her bridal gown and flower girl dress at age 20. After her wedding Gerri started working with bridal & formal wear. Making and altering gowns and dresses. She has had an alterations/ production shop in les iles de la madeleine ,before coming to Cincinnati Ohio. In 2004 she opened A Fit Of Perfection Alterations in Fairfield in 2005. later relocating to Miamisburg Ohio.

Gerri is hearing impaired but does not let that interfere with her work. She does very well communicating with her clients.

We are an alterations business specializing in bridal & formal wear. We opened in Fairfield Ohio in June 2005. We located to the Miamisburg area in June 2012.

The owner of A Fit Of Perfection Alterations is Gerri Taker.

With 30 years of experience of working with bridal and formal wear Gerri not only alters from the simplest to the most complicated and unique gowns, but also makes gowns.

We also do all the alterations needs at Lace Couture Bridal & Yours Truly Kelly's in Reading's Bridal District. We are often referred to family and friends by our clients. We have altered over 1000 gowns in the last 2yrs and have had not one complaint on our alterations. Our work speaks for itself. Our quality of alterations are excellent with competitive prices.
